The basics of cultural funding: information and tips from the Kulturakademie Münsterland

Cultural projects often need financial support - but how does cultural funding actually work and what funding programmes are available? The Kulturbüro des Münsterland e.V. is offering an overview of the basic principles of cultural funding as part of its Kulturakademie Münsterland training series: the workshop will take place on 19 March (Wednesday) from 2 to 5 pm at Stroetmanns Fabrik, Friedrichsstraße 2, in Emsdetten.

The different types of funding - from municipal programmes to EU funding - and which institutions, foundations and funds offer support will be presented. Participants will also learn what is important for a successful application. In addition to the theoretical introduction, the event also offers the opportunity for individual questions and practical examples.

The speakers from Kulturbüro Münsterland, Andre Sebastian and Lars Krolik, have many years of experience and in-depth expertise in cultural funding. The workshop is aimed at cultural professionals from all sectors who would like to gain an overview of the funding landscape and make targeted use of funding opportunities for their projects.
