‘Trompetenbaum und Geigenfeige’ concert series: Pop String Quartet performs in Nottuln

With its ‘Trompetenbaum und Geigenfeige’ concert series, Münsterland e.V. is once again bringing live music to selected gardens and parks in the Münsterland region this summer. On Sunday 30 August, the Pop String Quartet will be performing rock and pop classics on classical instruments in the garden of St Elisabeth’s College.

What do Queen, Led Zeppelin and the Beatles have in common? That’s right – they don’t actually play string instruments. The Pop String Quartet makes it possible, arranging famous songs for cello, viola and violin in such a way that you can still recognise the originals. The concert begins at 5 pm; doors open at 4 pm.

Tickets cost 16 euros in advance and 18 euros on the door.

Full details and tickets – including for other events organised by ‘Trompetenbaum und Geigenfeige’ – are available at www.trompetenbaum-geigenfeige.eu.
