Until 30 November: Funding for cultural projects in the Münsterland region

From concerts and theatre performances to art exhibitions: in the Münsterland region, there are many people who organise cultural projects with great dedication but limited financial resources. This is precisely where the Münsterland Art & Culture Foundation comes in, promoting culture in the region. Applications for funding can be submitted until 30 November. 

The foundation supports projects that enrich cultural life in the Münsterland region and bring local people together. In rural areas in particular, cultural activities are organised by individuals or groups who often work on a voluntary basis. It is frequently difficult for them to secure funding from ‘traditional’ sources of cultural support, such as local sponsors, community foundations, regional businesses or state-level cultural funding bodies. The Kunst & Kultur Münsterland Foundation aims to bridge this gap and connect voluntary cultural projects with the opportunities offered by professional cultural funding. 

“With small grants, the foundation can make a big impact. This provides vital support, particularly for projects run on a voluntary or semi-professional basis, and enriches the diverse cultural landscape of the Münsterland region,” explains Andre Sebastian, Head of the Kulturbüro des Münsterland e.V. 

Cultural initiatives and associations from the Münsterland region that combine voluntary commitment with professional standards are eligible to apply. The foundation generally supports projects with grants ranging from 500 to 2,500 euros.
