Lippe Valley and its districts offer a colourful programme of events. The calendar of events ranges from the spring run to the "Dinner in White" and the "Ida Festival Week". A special highlight for cyclists is the bicyclethon in August.

42 kilometres - 8 hours - 10 stations
The popular cycling day for the whole family in Lippe Valley always takes place on the second Sunday in August. The entire route is then - like a marathon - approx. 42 km long and specially signposted for this day. The Lippetal associations invite you to rest in the villages from 10 am to 6 pm. The uniform direction of travel is clockwise to the right. However, the roads are not closed, so you must expect oncoming traffic!
