Great fun for enthusiasts of all ages. The tractor museum in Westerkappeln gives us a unique insight into the mechanisation and development of agriculture over the last 100 years. The spectacular private collection includes machines and tractors from the first half of the 20th century and has developed into one of the most extensive and important of its kind in north-west Germany. Enthusiasts' hearts beat faster when the Lanz Bulldog, which has only 12 hp, starts moving with the unmistakable sound of its diesel engine. Rare treasures from the companies Deutz, Güldner and Hanomag can also be found in the collection. Several times a year, action days with demonstrations are organised around the museum.

Alpaca concert with live music (harp and guitar)

This offer is unique! Let yourself be seduced by gentle, curious alpacas to the magic of harp and guitar music. The small concert takes place on the alpaca pasture, between the plush noses. Procedure:
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the event in the courtyard area and choose a drink (non-alcoholic) if you wish. We will give a short introduction, then you can join the alpacas in the pasture. the pasture. Choose a place for yourself or place your chair. chair. Every 1st Sun./Mon. at 5 pm, May to October. The event also takes place when it rains (covered areas), but not in stormy and cold weather. We will then postpone the concert. Your tickets will then be valid for a subsequent date.

Celebrate the Advent party with us on 1 Advent at the Teuto-Alpakas in Tecklenburg - thanks to the option of moving into the cosy stable, you can do so regardless of the weather! Enjoy the Christmas atmosphere with mulled wine, grilled sausages and live guitar music directly between our alpacas (in good weather outside by the fire bowl).

Would you like to celebrate Advent in a different way? Get into the Christmas spirit together with our plushies!

In this offer we provide a Christmas programme for the public in our forest landscape on the pasture or in the stable. There is a special photo opportunity with Christmas props, information and joint feeding of the alpacas.

There will also be an atmospheric, warm fire in a fire bowl (weather permitting). If you like, you can enjoy a mulled wine or children's punch and grill sausages by the fire while we sing or listen to Christmas carols on the guitar.

In the Advent-decorated stable or in the meadow, there will be an Advent buffet for everyone to bring along, with treats from and for everyone, e.g. biscuits, salads or baguettes.

Important: Wear weatherproof clothing and shoes and bring treats for the buffet. Sausages and mulled wine can be booked until 5 pm the day before, otherwise please bring your own (veggies also possible). For sausages, please bring long, sharpened sticks.

Note: With this offer, we offer you the opportunity to meet new, nice people get to know new, friendly people and celebrate together. If you prefer celebrate privately with your family, friends or colleagues, this is also possible as part of our"Small celebration with a difference..." programme.

This year, the Christmas market in Westerkappeln will take place on the grounds of the tractor museum with many regional sales and food stalls in the cosy, festively decorated courtyard. In addition to culinary delicacies and hot drinks, a colourful supporting programme organised by the Tecklenburger Land Old Tractor Friends creates a pre-Christmas atmosphere for young and old. The lovingly decorated stalls make a visit on the 4th Advent a special experience. The municipality of Westerkappeln cordially invites all citizens and guests from the region to enjoy the Advent season together and get in the mood for the coming festive season.
