The "NaturTour Vreden" cycle route

The Nature Tours were developed as part of the“Travel for All” project in Vreden. Vreden has set itself the aim of making a holiday the best time of the year. A key aspect of this is ensuring that no one has to contend with unexpected barriers. The ‘Travel for All’ project has created leisure activities for visitors who are blind, deaf, have limited mobility or use a wheelchair. The two cycle routes, NaturTour I and II, were also part of this special project (they were certified by the ‘Travel for All’ network until 2025). They make cycling accessible to everyone and give all visitors the chance to enjoy the beautiful countryside around Vreden by bike.

The NaturTour Vreden for All Ilinks more than 20 natural and cultural attractions and covers approximately 30.5 kilometres,with options for shortcuts, from Vreden via the Ellewicker Feld to the Zwillbrocker Venn; the route then returns via the Crosewicker Feld and the hamlet of Ellewick. Cyclists can join the route at any point along the signposted trail.
