Tips for visiting the museums in Münsterland

Dear visitors of the Münsterland,

due to the Corona pandemic, the 2G rule will apply to visits to museums in Münsterland from 24.11.2021. Proof of complete vaccination or recovery is required. Children and young people up to and including 15 years of age are exempt from this rule.

Cycling at the textile plant in Bocholt

As in the entire Münsterland region, the textile factory in Bocholt is also integrated into the Münsterland cycle path network. You won't find any metres in altitude here, but you will find beautiful cycle paths to worthwhile excursion destinations. Why not cycle along the Bocholter Aa to Gemen Castle in Borken and take a short break in the Pröbstingsee - a real treat. A very nice destination, especially for families, is Anholter Schweiz in Isselburg. The park's numerous animals are just waiting for your visit. Only a few kilometres away, Anholt moated castle greets you. Definitely one of the most romantic places in the Münsterland.

4,500 kilometres of signposted cycle paths criss-cross the Münsterland. The textile factory in Bocholt can also be reached via the practical hub system. The hub system offers countless opportunities for cycling tours and circular routes through the Münsterland region.

Service for cyclists

Cyclists are very welcome at the TextilWerk. Bags and luggage can be left at the lockers in the spinning mill. In terms of catering, there is a café and a restaurant to choose from. You can also take a break on one of the benches in the outdoor area of the weaving mill. For small breakdowns, the museum has valves, air pump and a repair kit ready.
