Milte-Ostbevern carriage and driving route

At just under 20 kilometres, the Milte-Ostbevern carriage route is the longest of the three Warendorf routes. From Milte, the route follows the northern Frankenbach stream to the Schirl farming community. Fields, forest edges, hedges and meadows alternate again and again. Farms line the route.

Fancy a break? About halfway along the route, the idyllically situated Habichtshof farm café invites you to take a break. A tethering bar and watering facilities offer a special service for the horses. The carriage drivers can relax with a savoury pancake or a delicious piece of homemade cake. Well-fuelled, they head back towards Milte.

And the special icing on the cake of this tour: the route runs entirely along the Warendorf riding route and is therefore signposted throughout.
