Use of hydrogen

Hydrogen can be used in drive technology via the fuel cell (conversion into electricity) or directly in combustion engines as a fuel (mixture of hydrogen and air) or as a starting material for hydrogen-based fuels (e.g. methanol). Fuel cell technology is now being used in waste collection vehicles, among other applications.
