"Circular Economy Instead of Crisis" exhibition at the Demonstration Centre for Construction and Energy

What does a world without waste look like? The exhibition “Circularity Instead of Crisis” by the Cradle to Cradle NGO uses everyday examples – from clothing and packaging to building materials – to show how the circular economy enables a future worth living in.

Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 16:00. Every 2nd and 4th Thursday until 18:00, including a public guided tour at 17:00. Admission and the guided tour are free of charge.

The circular economy must work in practice – and be economically viable for businesses. But where do concrete economic opportunities arise? Which circular solutions are already proving their worth? And what support and reliable framework conditions do businesses need to implement them?

At this forward-looking and knowledge-sharing event, the NRW Circular Economy Strategy, support schemes offered by the state and practical experiences from the skilled trades and industry will come together.

The focus is not just on providing information, but on direct exchange: businesses are expressly invited to share their experiences, questions and challenges and to discuss them with representatives from the Ministry, state institutions and the business community.

The event is aimed in particular at entrepreneurs, executives and specialist managers from the skilled trades, industry and other sectors of the economy. Also welcome are representatives from chambers of commerce, trade associations, business development agencies, academia and regional networks.

No prior knowledge of the circular economy is required. What matters is an interest in economically viable solutions and in the question of how the circular economy can be successfully implemented in business practice.

The event is taking place as part of the ‘Münsterland Circular Economy Region’ project, which is funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The ERDF projects ‘Grünes Gründen Münsterland’, ‘Kreislaufwirtschaftsregion Münsterland’ and ‘Sustainable Innovation Münsterland’ are drawing to a close. At the same time, a new chapter is beginning: with ‘Zukunft Unternehmensnachfolge Münsterland’, ‘TOR@Münsterland’, ‘Circular Bioeconomy’ and other regional funding projects, Münsterland e.V. continues to take responsibility for key future issues in the region.

Together with other ERDF projects across the Münsterland region, more than 13 million euros will be channelled into the region over the coming years. We’d like to look back with you on what we’ve achieved, celebrate the completion of the projects and take a first look at what’s next for ‘
