"Changing signs": Kick-off for the art projects surrounding the regional reform in Münsterland

Invitation to an event organised by the Kulturbüro Münsterland on 10 October at the Kulturbahnhof Hiltrup

What impact did the territorial reform of 1975 have on the region? Under the title "Changing signs - 50 years of regional reform in Münsterland", five art projects from various disciplines will explore this question. A performance, a youth theatre, an essay film, animated films and a podcast will be created by spring 2025.

The Kulturbüro Münsterland invites all interested parties to the launch of "Schilderwechsel" on Thursday, 10 October, from 3 to 5 pm at the Kulturbahnhof Hiltrup (Bergiusstraße 15, 48165 Münster). Guests are welcome from 2.45 pm with a drink. The official programme begins at 3 p.m. with a short lecture on the historical territorial reform, an interview with contemporary witnesses and talks with the artists. Participants include Sarah Giese, Christoph Tiemann and Johannes Kraas from Münster and Berlin artist Chryssa Tsampazi. The event will be moderated by Türkân Heinrich.

To enable better planning, please register by 30 September by emailing schilderwechsel@muensterland.com.
