Food from the region: Münsterland eco-model region invites you to an information meeting in Gescher

How food from the Münsterland eco-model region finds its way into the home kitchen is the topic of an event at the NaturOH farm in Gescher on 3 September (Tuesday) from 5 to 7 pm. Klaus Strüber, expert and organiser of the event, will explain the principle of so-called solidarity agriculture (Solawi for short) and farm owner Birgit Bartsch will show how a new Solawi could be set up on her farm.

"Everyone who is interested in sustainable agriculture and fresh, regional food is cordially invited," says Juliane Rabe, project manager of the Münsterland eco-model region based at Münsterland e.V. "Food loses its price and gets its value back - participants will find out on site what is behind this evening's motto."

The information meeting will take place at the NaturOH farm, Harwick 89 in 48712 Gescher. Admission is free. Please register by e-mail to info@klaus-strueber.de by 2 September.

The event is part of the sales promotion project "(Ernährungs-)Zukunft NRW: RegionalÖkologisch" of the state government Organic Farming North Rhine-Westphalia e.V., funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
