Horse enthusiasm in compact form: New Münsterland e.V. riding map now available
Whether events, excursions or highlights along the way: the Münsterland is one of the leading equestrian regions in Germany. Münsterland e.V. is therefore now offering the ideal companion for horse lovers with its new overview map. This gives interested parties a compact overview of suitable offers.
"With the new riding map, we want to offer a reliable orientation aid and make the diversity of the region around the topic of horses more visible. We are not only addressing riders, but anyone interested in horses," says Laura Finke, responsible for the equestrian region at Münsterland e.V..
With more than 80,000 horses - including one of the last herds of wild horses in Europe - Münsterland is not only known and loved by equestrian sports enthusiasts. The region is home to a large number of riding stables, horse and breeding farms and institutions, and the more than 1000 kilometres of signposted Münsterland Riding Route invites you to go for a ride. And the equestrian region can also be explored without your own horse. Various events such as the Tournament of Champions in Münster, the Wild Horse Catch near Dülmen and the Stallion Parade in Warendorf offer numerous opportunities to indulge your own passion for horses. Every year, they attract hundreds of thousands of international guests to the Münsterland. "The new riding map shows how closely nature, culture and equestrian sport are linked here. It makes it easy to plan horse-themed excursions," says Finke.
The new riding map is available from tourist information centres in the region and from Münsterland e.V. by calling 02571 949392 or sending an email to touristik@muensterland.com. The maps can also be ordered and downloaded online at www.muensterland.com/kataloge.
