RKP Funding 2026: The Münsterland Academy of Culture provides information on the changes
Financial support for cultural projects in the Münsterland region: this is available through the ‘RKP – Regional Culture Programme NRW’, for which artists and cultural practitioners can still apply until 30 September. A number of changes are being introduced for the first time in the current application year – the Münsterland Cultural Academy will provide information on these in the online seminar ‘RKP Reminder’ on Tuesday 14 July, from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The aim of the event is both to provide new applicants with reliable guidance and to inform experienced project organisers about current developments and relevant changes to the funding process.
Since 1997, the RKP has been funding collaborative cultural projects that contribute to regional networking and structural development. State funding amounts to a maximum of 50 per cent of total expenditure. In addition to private individuals, creative associations, federations, local authorities, institutions and independent organisations are also eligible to apply.
The team at the Kulturbüro des Münsterland e.V., which has been familiar with the programme for many years in its role as the regional coordination office for the RKP, will explain key aspects of the application process during this online seminar, provide guidance on the procedure and be available to answer questions. The event therefore offers an opportunity to clarify any outstanding issues in good time before the deadline.
