Discover your new home through the lens: Service Onboarding@Münsterland invites you to a welcome event featuring a mobile phone photography workshop at Münster harbour
Have you just arrived in the Münsterland region, successfully got through your first few weeks at work, but still haven’t got to know enough people? To help you settle into the region, the Onboarding@Münsterland service run by Münsterland e.V. is hosting a special welcome event in Münster on Thursday 3 September. Under the theme ‘Discover your new home through the lens’, the event combines a mobile phone photography workshop in Münster’s harbour with the chance to make new contacts.
From 6 pm to 10 pm, the focus will be on creative perspectives. Following a brief introduction to the basics of smartphone photography, participants will set off on a discovery tour of the harbour district, where modern architecture meets historic, converted warehouses, providing the ideal backdrop for exciting photo opportunities. Afterwards, the group will head to the ‘B-Side’ socio-cultural centre (Am Mittelhafen 42). There, professionals will share practical tips and tricks for digital image editing. Over chilled drinks and finger food, there will also be plenty of time to chat with one another.

The Onboarding@Münsterland service is a regional initiative by employers and business stakeholders in the Münsterland region and is run by Münsterland e.V. with the support of numerous institutions in the region. The initiative helps (new) skilled workers settle in and feel at home in the region, and supports employers in recruiting and retaining skilled staff.
