"Experience the good": The new blog for Münsterland

Discover, experience, enjoy - all this is perfectly possible in Münsterland. A new blog for Münsterland fans and those who want to become fans now shows where and how. At www.muensterlandblog.com, the staff of Münsterland e.V. give first-hand recommendations and tips for the next holiday or excursion. The blog starts in three Münsterland categories with 30 contributions that tell of favourite places, encounters and little holiday moments on the doorstep.
"Our association has been around for 13 years, so we've accumulated a lot of experience," says Michael Kösters, head of tourism at Münsterland e.V. "Our employees love the region and like to pass on their enthusiasm. A blog is perfect for this because it offers a very personal and individual view of the experiences in Münsterland."
The topics of the blog cover the strengths of the region: In the category "Sattelfest & Gräftensicher" you can find the classic Münsterland experiences, excursions to castles and palaces, bike tours, horseback rides or hikes. Adventurers will find inspiration in the category "Töftes & Gedöns" - it describes everything that can be experienced off the beaten track, for example an alpaca hike or a ride in a hot air balloon. Schlickern & Schlemmen" is about what tastes good: organic cheese from the local harbour cheese dairy, vegan breakfast, meat week in the restaurant or homemade picnic.
The articles are enriched with information on opening hours, prices or how to get there as well as insider tips on worthwhile side trips or the necessary equipment. In addition to the staff of Münsterland e.V., the blog also features contributions from influencers or bloggers who have explored the region at the invitation of the association.
Project manager Kristina Konken is pleased to be able to offer another building block for the "inspiration phase" of tourists with the blog: "In contrast to advertisements or social media posts, a blog can serve a completely different level. Here, personal experience, emotion and recommendation play a major role. The texts reflect the personality of the authors and tell very individual stories about exciting Münsterland experiences."
The blog is financed by the ERDF funding project "Palaces and Castles Region Münsterland", which was initiated and is being implemented by Münsterland e.V. and the four districts as well as the City of Münster as part of Regionale 2016.
