Glockenstadt Gescher - In the name of the bell

Gescher in the western Münsterland is known as the bell city of the region. For one day, you can immerse yourself in the history of the town and the bell foundry.

You will be greeted by the chimes of the bell foundry and then watch real bell founders at work. Alternatively, you will be guided through the interesting bell museum. After lunch with a "bell plate" in the city centre restaurant, you will be picked up by a city guide and led through Gescher. The tour also takes you through the interior of St. Pancratius Church and to the Simeoni painting in the town hall. At the end of the day, you will take a seat in the time-honoured brewery in the museum courtyard for a shared coffee table.
