Haltern am See | The Blue Tour

In the morning, your coachman awaits you at the Haltern train station for an impressive lake experience tour. The journey begins in a leisurely manner to the southern shore of the Haltern reservoir. On a round trip with the passenger ship "Möwe" you will discover the Vogelinsel, the Stadtmühlenbucht and the lakeside resort with its natural sandy beach. The trip then continues to the idyllic district of Sythen, the old water mill and Sythen Castle. Over countryside, between meadows and ferlderas and forest, you will reach the rural district of Lavesum. There you will be served typical local dishes at the hearty "Treckeberg snack" or, if you are really hungry, at the "Schnitzel hunt". Afterwards, your coachman will take you back to the station or to the city centre, which is well worth a visit.
