Ahlen's market square is not only a meeting place for locals and visitors but also a stage for many events. The Pöttekesmarkt and the town festival are just a few examples. Ahlen's art association and the town hall ensure a full calendar of events.
If you want to see more dates, also from the surrounding area, simply change the radius or extend the search date.
Once again this year, Ahlen is celebrating a lively town festival with its visitors on the weekend of 16 to 18 June. The organisers promise a colourful programme of music with scene greats, as well as musical appetisers from the twin towns and Ahlen groups. The programme is a colourful mix of music, art, acrobatics and comedy. With a wide variety of culinary and gastronomic offers on the market square, at the Bartholomäus Church, as well as on the Marienplatz, the physical well-being of the numerous expected guests from Ahlen and the region is taken care of.
On the following Sundays, various shops in the city centre of Ahlen will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. as part of an event.
Vegetables and fruit fresh from the field, meat products from the region, fragrant baked goods straight from the oven, colourful seasonal flowers and mysterious spices from all over the world. The weekly markets in Münsterland invite you to "open-air shopping" and yet are far more than mere sales places. This is where locals and guests meet, the latest news is exchanged and there is time for a chat among friends.
