A packed calendar of events is typical for the district town of Borken. A special event is the kick-off event for the Maitremse on the market square. In summer, the "Borken Beach" attracts visitors, and in winter, the large ice skating rink at "Borken Ice" is the place to be. The Pröbstingsee is the "stage" for sporting events and the Vennehof town hall is a convincing venue for cultural events. And at the end of the year, the Christmas markets let the town and its surroundings shine.
If you want to see more events, also from the surrounding area, simply change the radius or expand the search date.
In recent years, experiential education has found its way into many areas of school and extracurricular child and youth work. It is also used as so-called outdoor training in the context of personnel development in companies. Experiential education is described as a method and even a sub-science of pedagogy and promotes learning with heart, head and hand.
In this introduction, the possibilities and limits of experiential education will be tried out for oneself and reflected on with regard to its use in one's own work. Practical units will alternate with creative reflection techniques. In addition, historical references and theoretical backgrounds of experiential education will be explained.Theory:Practice

The owners are always happy to share their expertise. The private garden was originally discovered in 2010 by "ARD-Ratgeber - Heim und Garten", which reported from the garden in Raesfeld.
