City tour through Lüdinghausen

Would you like to experience Lüdinghausen from its most beautiful side? Then embark on an exciting city tour through the heart of the town - perfect for anyone who wants to combine culture, history and nature. In around 60 to 90 minutes, you will get to know some great sights in the town centre: from imposing castles and old mills to idyllic watercourses. The route is even signposted (see symbol on the right).

Your tour starts at a real highlight: the magnificent Vischering Castle, one of the most famous buildings in Münsterland. From here, the trail leads you through the charming moated castle landscape to the romantic Lüdinghausen Castle. Another piece of the town's history awaits you at the historic Borgmühle mill before you immerse yourself in the charming old town - with its picturesque alleyways, charming cafés and other sights such as St Felizitas Church and the blue printing works.

Accompanied by the gently lapping waters of the Stever, you return to Vischering Castle along a varied route. The tour is not only a feast for the eyes, but also a short journey through Lüdinghausen's history.
