On 29 October, the third of three themed evenings from the annual programme of the AK Kunst-Kultur-Kirche, St. Georg Saerbeck – ‘With Jesus at the Heart of the Times’ – will take place at 7 pm in the parish hall.

Another group offers exercise, fresh air and the chance to meet new people.
Everyone using a rollator, electric wheelchair or mobility scooter comes together for a leisurely group walk. The senior guides who accompany the group take care to cater for individual needs, such as breaks and shorter routes.
The meeting point is the entrance to MGH Saerbeck

Clown Fidelidad takes on the role of a clumsy acrobat; he enchants his amazed audience as a wild bull and a proud matador, and stages a ‘classic bullfight’ in which the bull and the matador share some of the funniest moments. Dressed in a snow-white nightgown, he plays his violin to the moon, which appears enchantingly in the night sky and whisks the clown away into a dream-filled night.
Lots of fun, lots of joy and plenty of entertainment with the clown Fidelidad are guaranteed.

The Saerbeck art and culture association BUNKER11 will be hosting pianist and composer Aeham Ahmad at the Bürgerhaus in Saerbeck on 7 November 2026.
Pianist and composer Aeham Ahmad, the "pianist from the rubble", grew up in the Palestinian refugee camp Yarmouk in Damascus.
Aeham Ahmad played the piano in the middle of the Syrian civil war.
He is giving a solo concert in Saerbeck and reading from his book "Arriving..."
It gives an insight into the life and everyday life of Aeham Ahmad with all its beautiful sides and difficulties. He tells his story and his experiences in Germany and Europe up close.
He says: "I didn't manage to change anything in Syria, but maybe I have a chance here."
Tickets go on sale around 6 weeks before the event at Buch & Mehr in Saerbeck and Atelier Buch & Kunst in Emsdetten.

As a 2026 eco-project, crown corks are collected for art at every Bunker11 event - every lid counts!
On the one hand, the crown caps are returned to the recycling cycle, which benefits the environment and reduces the consumption of resources. On the other hand, the German-Syrian artist ALAA NASSER will create a work of art from a selection of crown caps, which will be auctioned off in November.
The proceeds from the art auction and the sale of bottle caps will provide the financial basis for new BUNKER11 cultural projects in 2027.
