Picnic at Haus Assen in Lippetal

Picnic meets culture: On 20 and 21 June, Haus Assen in Lippetal-Lippborg invites you to the Münsterland Picnic Days. On both days, the car park will be available as a picnic area. Surrounded by magnificent trees and with a view of the beautiful building, this is a great place for an outdoor meal.

On 21 June, the Palaces and Castles Day will also be held at Haus Assen at the same time as the Picnic Days. Guided tours of the house will be offered on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, short guided tours for small groups are available on request for a voluntary donation. Guided tours are offered on Sunday for a fee. Please book in advance.

  • Registration: It is not necessary to register for the picnic on the grounds. Visits to the castle courtyard, the chapel and the interior are only possible with a guided tour. Please register for the guided tours here.
