Münsterland Castles and Palaces Day 2026

The Münsterland region boasts an extraordinary wealth of beautiful examples of great architectural achievement. For the ninth time, therefore, numerous properties opened their doors and gates forthe ‘Münsterland Castles and Palaces Day 2026’. On 21 June 2026, visitors wereonce again able toexploreknights’halls, tower rooms and castle grounds. On this day, visitors were enchanted by the beautiful castles, fortresses, moated estates and manor houses set amidst the expansive parkland of the Münsterland. Set amongst meadows and fields, guests were treated to activities and attractions for young and old alike, culinary highlights, picnics and guided tours of the properties and grounds. It was the ideal opportunity to experience the Münsterland at its very best...

Once again, Vischering Castle took the lead in organising the day as the portal for the palaces and castles of the Münsterland region.
