Münsterland Festival meets BurgJazz

Three days of jazz at one of the most beautiful moated castles in Münsterland: from 19 to 21 June 2026, the Münsterland Festival and the BurgJazz series will once again bring international jazz greats and interesting new discoveries to Burg Vischering. On Sunday, there will also be a children's concert and an open-air picnic concert to coincide with the Palaces and Castles Day and the "Münsterland Picnic Days". Both events invite you to linger and enjoy. The special ambience of the medieval castle provides the setting for a weekend that combines high-calibre music and an excursion experience.

Sunday, 21 June:
11 a.m. Children's concert: Cologne children's band GORILLA CLUB meet their young audience at eye level in their songs and on stage - charming, direct and with the energy of a real band: electric guitars, synthesiser and powerful drums included. Admission is free. Free choice of seats.

12 - 2 p.m. COLOURING ACTION FOR CHILDREN WITH THE ILLUSTREN RUNDE
Get your pencils ready, go! Between the children's concert and the picnic concert, the plane tree meadow at Burg Vischering is transformed into a small studio.

3 pm Picnic concert: JINJIM combines the energy of rock with jazz, Latin and electronic sounds with elegant, almost floating lightness.

Concert enjoyment with a picnic: fresh picnic boxes from Café Reitstall

Café Reitstall offers freshly assembled picnic boxes on site for a relaxed concert day at Burg Vischering. You can spontaneously choose your favourite option on site and choose between three different picnic boxes.

    Public transport: Lüdinghausen is on the Dortmund - Enschede railway line. The walk from the railway station to the castle takes approx. 25 minutes. Travelling by express bus S90 Münster-Senden-Lüdinghausen (bus stop Vischering junction)
