The Hertha-See recreation centre in Hörstel offers swimming fun for camping guests as well as day visitors. The centrepiece of the campsite is the lake of the same name, which lies in the middle of the beautiful Münsterland parkland. The picturesque bathing lake with its long sandy beach attracts sun worshippers and water lovers from near and far.
With a water surface area of 50,000 square metres and an average water depth of around 1.3 metres, Lake Hertha offers plenty of space for water fun. For guests of all ages!
A special feature of the lake is that you can drive your car right up to the beach. This means you don't have to carry your swimsuit, parasol or air mattress too far.
Four-legged friends must stay at home on a trip to Lake Hertha, however. Dogs are strictly prohibited on the entire campsite.
