Pottery Museum in Ochtrup
The pottery museum in Ochtrup could not have a more suitable home: The three-storey farmhouse, which dates back to 1678, is the former home of the Ochtrup pottery family Eiling in "Töpferstraße". The furnishings from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries were owned by this family and vividly illustrate their living situation at that time. In addition, the museum presents an interesting overview of the work of the Ochtrup potters of the past. The oldest exhibits date back to the 14th/15th century.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, the pottery museum also hosts special exhibitions of modern ceramics and other art objects. Regular pottery courses on various topics give young and old the chance to become creative themselves.
