The sound of this Hamburg band is pop-infused, hard-hitting, catchy and danceable. A modern take on rock, built on the foundations of drums, guitar and bass. But with added touches, reflecting the quartet’s eclectic musical tastes. Above all, though, punk – in attitude, honesty and the joy of playing. In short, everything that really matters!

This is no coincidence; having toured with bands such as ZSK, Drei Meter Feldweg and Zebrahead, and played at festivals like Hurricane, Rock Am Ring and Deichbrand, the quartet have earned a reputation as the scene’s hottest live act.

As well as the songs, it’s the raw energy, the clear stance and the sense of community that reigns at a TYNA gig that make the band unforgettable.

You can feel this energy on their new album “ALLEN GEHT ES” too, and it’s clear that the band has gone through a tough time, only to emerge stronger and more focused as they set out into new times.

And so, whilst they tackle difficult subjects – perhaps more honestly than ever before (which is saying something!) – they never leave their listeners feeling alone. Because “You’re fine just the way you are!” is perhaps the most fundamental message on their second album.

After Miu opens the evening’s concert for Alphaville at the Gronau Jazz Festival in May, she’ll be joining us at the Musikclub in October for her own club concert – intimate, up close and full of atmosphere.

Around ten years ago, the Hamburg-born singer made a bold decision: a flight to New York, a gig at the legendary “The Bitter End” – and shortly afterwards, she handed in her notice from her job in the advertising industry. It marked the start of an impressive career.

Miu’s music is retro-inspired soul-pop, produced with a modern touch and carried by a warm, distinctive voice. Her songs speak of self-doubt, new beginnings and inner exploration – honest, reflective and emotional. It is precisely this blend that has earned her a loyal fanbase and widespread acclaim.

Her music features in a wide range of contexts: in ARD’s *Tatort* productions, on Netflix and for brands such as Montblanc. Miu was also the first artist to perform at the Elbphilharmonie – even before its official opening. She has appeared on stage as a support act for artists including Macy Gray, Gianna Nannini, Leon Bridges and Stefanie Heinzmann. Her last two albums successfully entered the charts thanks to crowdfunding.

On this tour, Miu presents her latest album, “Ten Times Around the Sun” – a personal, powerful work that unfolds its full intensity in a club setting.

An evening for everyone who loves soul, pop and indie, and who prefers to discover exceptional female artists live rather than looking back on them later.

There’s another special quiz night coming up at the Turbine music club. With topics such as rock and pop, the charts and dance music, bands and dance, music fans can put their knowledge to the test across a range of categories. There’ll be questions, picture puzzles, sound clips and much more from the past 50 years of the music industry. The focus here is on having fun and enjoying a sociable evening. However, there’ll be a small prize for every team at the end, and slightly bigger prizes for the top three.

KENITRA is the story of a special friendship that grew into a band. In 2016, singer Taha Bouzaidi came to Germany from the Moroccan city of Kenitra to study medicine. In Münster, he met four musicians – and discovered not only his passion for music, but also his extraordinary voice.

Together, the five of them developed their very own sound, blending soul, West Coast rock, indie pop and musical influences from Taha’s North African homeland. Joint sessions led to their first concerts, and what began as a solo project eventually evolved into a permanent band.

In 2024, they decided to take the next step together – under the name KENITRA, named after Taha’s hometown. Today, the band can look back on more than 100 concerts and captivates audiences with rousing live performances, emotional songs and an unmistakable blend of musical influences. What makes KENITRA special is the palpable bond between the five musicians – both on and off stage.

On Friday, 27 November 2026, the time has finally come again: brave authors will compete against each other at the 23rd Poetry Slam at Cinetech Gronau with their exclusively self-written texts and full physical commitment. Whether short story or poem, read or performed from memory, shouted or whispered - anything that comes from your own pen and fits into a narrow time slot of six minutes can be performed. As different as the presentations are, they all have one thing in common: the word acrobatics of the performing poets are impressive and can either make the audience laugh, think or move them to tears. Marian Heuser, the 2017 NRW runner-up and initiator of the "World of WORDcraft" poetry slam series, has been the charming host of the evening since the very beginning.
