Picnic area Inselparkgelände Gronau

The island park in Gronau was created in 2003 for the State Garden Show and is regarded as Gronau's "green lung". The creation of canals has resulted in individual islands that have been designed in different ways. The island park is within walking distance of the town centre and offers a picnic experience for the whole family. Numerous lawns and benches with tables are available.

Tip: You can also combine your family picnic with a rowing trip through the canals. Simply hire one of the red boats via the app and off you go. A very special experience for the little ones for sure!

Picnic with a view? Then "climb" up the pyramid in the Inselpark and enjoy a unique view over Gronau and the Inselpark from there.

After the picnic, the children can let off steam on the skate park, the sports course or the pirate playground. In short, the Inselpark grounds are an extensive, beautiful area with plenty of activities for the whole family!
