Coesfeld's markets are held on the first Saturday of every month from March to November. Goods for everyday household needs as well as textiles, leather and jewellery etc. are offered at the markets.

The 45th Children’s and Young People’s Flea Market, held as part of the Ursula Weekend, will take place around the KompetenzCentrum on Kupferstraße in Coesfeld. Children, young people and families can buy and sell second-hand toys and other child-friendly items. A drinks and snacks stall will be on hand to provide refreshments. 

Coesfeld's Ursula Sunday is one of the oldest traditional events in the city centre of the district town. Local and regional exhibitors present products and services at their stands. These include vendors specialising in the following topics: Home and garden supplies, decorative elements, jewellery and handicrafts. In addition to the exhibitors, local clubs and associations also present their main themes. A visit to the Ursula Sunday in Coesfeld is guaranteed not to be boring. Young and old are offered a varied programme. A balloon artist will make children's eyes light up, face painting will be on offer and a children's carousel will be busy doing its rounds for the little ones. The festival will be rounded off with Dutch street music and a gastronomic offer. The shops in the city centre will also be open from 1pm to 6pm.

The CHILLY CITY in-shop concerts are now in their seventh series: shops in Coesfeld are turning into stages for local musicians. At Sport Brocks, the musical duo Hufschmidt and Helmer will be providing an atmospheric evening with a mix of jazz, swing and evergreens. Under the theme ‘Dance – Heartbeat in Motion’, guests can look forward to a varied programme of entertainment featuring soulful and rousing dance performances. The Starlight Band from Gladbeck will provide the perfect dance music with a diverse repertoire – ranging from classic ballroom music to the latest hits. Between the show performances, guests are warmly invited to take to the dance floor themselves. The champagne reception begins at 7.00 pm, and the programme starts at 8.00 pm. Festive evening wear is requested.
