Picnic in the park

Experience agriculture and enjoy regional farm produce where it is grown: At Wurzeln & Hörner at Haus Hülshoff in Tecklenburg, you can unpack your picnic basket in the special atmosphere of the farm. You will find a shady spot on the extensive grounds for an enjoyable break between the goat pasture, farm life and nature.

The picnic can be ideally combined with a walk around the farm or a more sporty hike along the Hermannsweg and Teutoschleifen trails. This turns the picnic into an all-round harmonious excursion with regional flavours, exercise and exciting insights into organic farming at the foot of the Teutoburg Forest

Picnic baskets on pre-order

Roots & Horns picnic baskets are available at weekends from May to September. On Saturdays they are available from 12 noon to 5pm and on Sundays from 11am to 5pm in the ice hut in the park.

Orders can be placed by telephone on 01573 4226361 or by e-mail to karolinekroener@wurzeln-hoerner.de. Please state the type of picnic basket you would like, your name, the number of people and the date and approximate time. Orders can be placed until 6 pm the day before
