Day ride with picnic Reiterhof Hunsche

At Reiterhof Hunsche in Lienen, you can experience a day on horseback. With your hire horse, you can explore the Teutoburg Forest and the Münsterland parkland and enjoy nature on a guided day ride.

First of all, you head into the Teutoburg Forest. A homemade picnic from the riding centre with delicious local ingredients is then served for lunch. Then it's on to the Münsterland parkland. You can then review the day with the group as you unsaddle.

Procedure day ride

Day ride from 9 am - 5 pm

9 am | Arrival, getting to know the horses and saddling up. Followed by a short riding test in the riding hall.
10 am | 1st ride out into the Teuto, approx. 2 hours
12 -13.30 | Picnic on the meadow at the farm
13.30 | Ride out into the Münsterland parkland, approx. 3 hours
5 p.m. | End with unsaddling and horse care

homemade jam, cold cuts
seasonal fruit
Vegetable sticks with dip
an additional warm dish, e.g. soup

Dates: 24.05.2025 and 12.07.2025 | further dates on request
Note: the conditions for the day ride are max. weight 85 kg, weatherproof clothing, ankle-high shoes, riding helmet compulsory (helmets are available for hire)
To take part in the day ride, participants must be able to ride safely at all gaits. This will be checked before the ride. If it turns out otherwise, the full price must be paid and the participant may not take part in the ride.
Price: 119 € p. p. (minimum number of participants 3)
