Alpaca walks in the spa gardens

When autumn bathes Bad Waldliesborn in a riot of colour, it’s the perfect time for a short break. With its ancient trees, green meadows and peaceful paths, the spacious spa gardens invite you to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and consciously enjoy nature.

The guided alpaca walks through the spa gardens are a special experience. Accompanied by these curious animals, you’ll walk at a leisurely pace through the autumnal landscape. Along the way, you’ll learn interesting facts about the animals and their personalities. There’ll be plenty of time to take a deep breath, marvelling at the scenery and simply enjoying the moment – a special opportunity to discover nature from a new perspective.

The next alpaca walks will take place on 7 September 2026, 21 September 2026 and 12 October 2026, each starting at 5.30 pm. Participants must be aged 12 or over, and the cost is 45 euros per person.

The Nebelweg also reveals its special magic in September and October. When a fine mist hovers over the meadows, a walk becomes a nature experience with a very special atmosphere.
Those looking to get active can make use of the fitness equipment in the spa gardens. The mini-golf course and boules court are also perfect for spending time with family and friends.

After a day in the fresh air, there’s no better way to round off your day out than with regional specialities in a restaurant, accompanied by homemade cake and a cup of coffee – for example, in the cosy station café ‘Gute Stube’. Or simply enjoy a quiet picnic on the lawn – with treats you’ve brought along yourself.

Bad Waldliesborn is at its most beautiful in autumn: stunning natural scenery, unique experiences and warm hospitality make the town the perfect destination for your very own break.
