Paths in the circle - 50 years of regional reform - David Loscher and Sina Ebell

The essay film allowed citizens, former local politicians and administrative staff to recount their memories of the largest administrative reform in the Federal Republic of Germany - with a particular focus on the founding of the new district of Steinfurt. An academic perspective categorised the reform process historically and shed light on its democratic dimension - particularly with regard to participation and identity formation. This resulted in a multi-faceted picture of the territorial reform and its effects.
