Münsterland is climate country for municipalities

The "Münsterland ist Klimaland" initiative stands for the fact that we in Münsterland support each other in climate protection and climate adaptation efforts in the region. To this end, the initiative pools the expertise of regional stakeholders and provides an umbrella for regional specialist events (e.g. "Wärmekongress"), workshops (e.g. "WERKSTATT Wärmewende Münsterland") and networking meetings (e.g. "Kommunen-Netzwerk Klimaland"). The municipalities and districts benefit from the direct exchange of experience and the utilisation of synergies.

Another service offered by the initiative is the "Münsterland ist Klimaland" campaign, which provides local authorities and districts with free, customised communication materials for local use.
