The Münsterland is climate country campaign

Are you responsible for climate issues or public relations in your municipality and would like to use the campaign for communication in your town? That's great! We look forward to working with you to strengthen the appeal of the Münsterland as a climate country. All materials are free of charge for local authorities and can be customised on request (local authority logo, contact, text adaptations after consultation).

The campaign materials are divided into the so-called Big 5 topics: Renewable energies (solar), building refurbishment (including heat supply), user behaviour, mobility and climate impact adaptation. The materials can also be categorised according to "communication levels" , which can be combined to achieve greater effects:

  1. Level A: Media for brief information intended to create awareness, e.g. for an advisory service
  2. Level B: Media with more extensive information, e.g. information brochures on municipal heat planning
  3. Level C: a specific offer such as an event or consultation

On this page you will find all the information on how you can use the campaign and how to obtain the individualised files. You will also find an overview of the sample versions of the materials.

Instructions: Use & Download of the media

How do I receive the personalised materials?

We will take care of the graphic customisation and send you the finished PDF. Simply send us an e-mail to klimaland@muensterland.com with the following information and files:

  • Which material should be customised?
  • Attach the desired logo of the municipality as an image or vector file.
  • Which contact at the municipality should be named? Which website would you like to link to?
  • If the material is to be printed: What printing requirements should be taken into account? These requirements vary from print shop to print shop. Please ask the print shop of your choice about these requirements (e.g. resolution, colour settings, format, bleed and bleed). The printing itself is your responsibility. We cannot assume any costs or organisation.
  • For some more extensive materials, it is also necessary to use your own text modules. Please make sure that the texts are agreed internally before you send them to us for customisation.

The campaign also offers social media templates. These can be edited independently. To do this, simply click on the desired image and the template will open in Canva (registration is required to use Canva. However, a free account is sufficient to use the templates). You can find more detailed instructions and further tips on using social media in the social media guide.

You can find the social media templates in the overview files linked below. You can open them by clicking on the respective preview. The social media guide provides you with assistance for the effective and target group-orientated use of social media. Note: the templates from the heat pack are not included here.

DIGITAL CAMPAIGN WORKSHOP

We hold regular digital campaign workshops. There have been a total of eight workshops since 2021. The last one took place on 8 May 2026. The municipal climate protection managers and the respective press offices are invited. The project team of the "Münsterland ist Klimaland" climate campaign will show you how you can use the campaign in your municipality and present successful projects and ideas from the region. Because: copying is allowed!

You can download information from the last campaign workshop here.
