This public guided tour is especially aimed at families with children. Our city guide Bernard Köhler - often a night watchman in Billerbeck - discovers the special herbs and plants along the Berkel with young and old.

Small samples of edible treasures are of course included. At the end of this entertaining tour, everyone can enjoy a stick bread bonfire together.

The 2-hour tour starts at 3 pm. The tour starts at the hikers' car park at the source of the Berkel. The walk ends in the wild garden on the Berkel with a communal baked bread.

The guided tour costs € 5 per person. You pay the participation fee in cash on site.

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25 people.

At the start of the inner city summer, the Billerbeck Civic Foundation presents a colourful and varied programme.

The magician Endrik Thier, who brings art to the street and delights people of all ages, will provide great entertainment. With his tricks, he will provide great moments of magic and amazement on this summer evening.

During the breaks, Lynn Albert, a well-known face of the Billerbeck open-air stage, will host several rounds of BINGO, which will ensure fun for young and old alike. Small but nice prizes await the winners.

A limited number of seats will be provided. Free seating, reservations are unfortunately not possible.

15 years of blues on foot criss-crossing Europe and now on the best way to you!

The Walking Blues Prophets offer a rousing journey through the world of jazz, soul and blues wherever they appear.

The band will give a sample of their skills at a "travelling concert" through Billerbeck.

The line-up, which is probably unique in this country, makes their performances both acoustically and visually an experience with a very high fun factor.

The concert starts at 6 pm in the beer garden "Homoet meets Mertens" at the cathedral.

From 7 pm the band will then play in Münsterstraße (in front of Pot Still).

At 8 p.m. the finale will take place at Musikcafé Melrose in Lange Straße.

The Billerbecker InnenStadtSommer takes place with the kind support of Volksbank Baumberge.
