Along the Ems

The starting point of this day trip is the event area "Greven an die Ems! From April to August, you will also find restaurants directly on the river. From there you follow the Ems out of town.

Soon you leave the last settlement of the town of Greven behind you and reach the beautiful Münsterland park landscape. The Ems is your constant companion on the route from Greven to Emsdetten. The river meanders through the landscape in numerous loops.

When you arrive in Emsdetten, leave the Ems cycle path and follow the Mühlenbach stream through the town. After a while you will meet the former Max Clemens Canal. Follow it to Westerode. From here it is only a short distance to the starting point of the cycle tour.

End your day in Greven with a refreshing drink on the banks of the Ems and enjoy the wonderful ambience.
