SUMMER. NIGHT. MUSIC. at Nordkirchen Castle
A magnificent castle, fireworks in the sky, a picnic on the lawn and classical music to boot: for more than 20 years, the large open-air music festival at Nordkirchen Castle has been one of the cultural highlights of the region and thrills numerous spectators every year.
It is a summer evening full of contrasts: The baroque castle in the background, the classical sounds of the orchestra and the cosy picnic in the open air show the diversity of this multi-faceted event. The palace concert is accompanied by fascinating illuminations, water features and light and fire choreographies.
Dates and tickets
On 12 August 2023 from 8:00 p.m., the time has come again: under the direction of Viennese conductor Michael Zlabinger, the "festival:philharmonie westfalen" will ignite musical fireworks of the highest order. New name, same fascination
For three years in a row, the open-air concert coroana could not take place. Finally, the end of the music festival, which was previously known as "Summer Night Dreams", was announced. But at the end of 2022, there was reason to rejoice again: from summer 2023, the music festival will now be held under the title SOMMER. NIGHT. MUSIC. As the new organiser, musik:landschaft westfalen will incorporate the concert evening into its extensive summer festival.
