Hamelin anno 1284 - medieval flute music in the footsteps of the Pied Piper

Medieval transverse flutes and harp as well as recitations

The concert as part of the festival "kleiner musiksommer schapdetten" will take place will take place in the village centre, at the parish church St. Bonifatius Schapdetten will take place.

On this Saturday, you can get to know many upcycling possibilities for the summer: we will start with an atmospheric lantern and then the participants can let themselves go with the materials on offer. In the former Denter locksmith's shop, Daruper Str. 27, the artist Manfred Hubert will exhibit his acrylic paintings on 11/17 and 18 June from 2 to 6 pm. On display are expressive portraits of well-known personalities in acrylic on canvas from small to large format.

Folk songs and hits, open to everyone

Let's go outside: from 12 noon, the staff of the Dorfcafes will be grilling delicious food for you - vegan and vegetarian, of course. Sun loungers are available free of charge - you are welcome to bring anything for the picnic. Children can dig in the sand on the playground, try out the water games or have their faces decorated by children's make-up expert Anna-Laura Wien between 2 and 4 pm.

The opening event on 17 June will be opened by Mayor Dr Dietmar Thönnes. In addition to the big picnic, a varied accompanying programme with music and street acts is planned. On Sunday (18 June) there will be a foretaste of the cultural summer with the "Village Culture": Cycling tours and walks, guided tours, art and music in various places. At 5 p.m. the "kleine musiksommer schapdetten" (small music summer schapdetten) will attract visitors to the Bonifatius Church with free admission.

An action art project to promote mutual understanding, tolerance and peaceful coexistence. With the herd of blue sheep, artist Rainer Bonk wants to provide food for thought, point out what unites us and promote peaceful coexistence and tolerance. The blue sheep also create a very special atmosphere on Stiftsplatz.
