Green and blue
Immerse yourself in the colourful landscape of the Münsterland: the 44-kilometre green-blue cycle tour combines everything that makes a cyclist's heart beat faster. Green meadows, blue watercourses and wide fields accompany you on this varied tour around the Werse. Sometimes the route leads through quiet forests, sometimes past farms and small villages - always with plenty of nature and marvellous views.
Cosy rest stops along the way invite you to take a break in the countryside. In Sendenhorst, it is worth taking a detour to the historic town centre with its charming half-timbered houses, the old town hall and St. Martin's Church. The route continues towards Albersloh, where the Wersestrand beach with its renaturalised river landscape invites you to relax. How about cooling off for a while? You can dip your feet in the cool water here or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.
The next stop is Drensteinfurt, where the Old Post Office impresses with its striking half-timbered gable - one of the oldest buildings in the town and a real gem in the town centre.
Within sight of Sendenhorst, you will reach the Hardtteiche, an idyllic natural paradise with a small adventure trail and a view of the Schmetkamp farm. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity and discover the diversity of plants and animals. Finally, it is worth taking a look at Haus Siekmann 's calendar of events with its interesting cultural programme.
