This Christmas market is a real insider tip in Münsterland: in the Hohe Mark Nature Park, Raesfeld moated castle shines in Christmas splendour every 2nd Advent weekend of the year.

The historic setting of the Renaissance castle offers a unique atmosphere and a very special charm. From Thursday to Sunday, numerous exhibitors present their (art) works and enchant visitors with unusual gift ideas. The local gastronomy will tempt you with roast meats, pastries, punch and other delicacies. This year's Advent angel, who gives presents to the youngest guests at the market, will make children's eyes light up. Gift hunting in a historic setting

Around 80 stalls offer a wide range of nativity scenes, jewellery, art and paintings. You are sure to find a gift or two for Christmas here. The beautiful Advent market is rounded off by a musical programme and many stalls with delicious Christmas specialities such as crepes, bratwurst, punch and mulled wine. And always in the background: Raesfeld moated castle with its 52.5 metre high tower. The history of the castle dates back to the beginning of the 12th century!
