Picnic area refuge Wettringen

The lovingly decorated "Dirks" shelter is located in the centre of the Brechte farming community and is ideal for picnics. Ideal for large cycling or hiking groups who want to enjoy a cosy outdoor meal.

Don't forget: Be sure to sign the guest book on display! The refuge is located on various cycle routes and is known far beyond Wettringen's municipal boundaries. Very cosy!

Accessibility & Parking

You can park on the road at the side of the path. However, a visit to the refuge is more enjoyable on a long walk, a hike through the region or as a stop on your next cycle tour along one of the beautiful cycle routes in Münsterland.
