Welcome to Wadersloh!

The 13,000 inhabitants of Wadersloh enjoy THE GOOD LIFE in the countryside with many sporting opportunities in nature and exceptional cultural offerings. The municipality consists of the main town and two smaller districts.

Münsterland meets Soest district

Wadersloh is located in the district of Warendorf between Beckum, Oelde and Lippstadt, the latter town already belonging to the district of Soest. Münster and Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) are a good hour's drive away, Bielefeld about 35 minutes. Hamm and the district town of Warendorf are both 40 minutes away by car. Paderborn/Lippstadt Airportto the south-east is just as easy to reach.

Tip: The Münsterland is a cycling region! 4,500 kilometres of cycle paths offer you almost unlimited possibilities in the city and in the countryside: you can commute to work comfortably by bike and go on great tours with friends and family.

Living in Wadersloh

The almost 13,000 inhabitants of the municipality of Wadersloh live in three districts that used to be independent municipalities. About half of them live in Wadersloh, the district that gives the municipality its name, and about 3700 in Liesborn, which lies to the south. The smallest district is Diestedde, which lies to the west of Wadersloh: About 2300 people live here. In the Münsterland park landscape around the three villages are several farming communities that also belong to the municipality.
