Data portal Münsterland

The Münsterland data portal is the heart of the digital transformation for tourism. Countless open data on sights, businesses, events, routes and public transport are organised and bundled in the database. Each data set follows a fixed structure, is machine-readable and provided with open data licences. An automated quality management system ensures completeness and up-to-dateness. These are the best prerequisites for making data available simply and reliably via interfaces . Service providers, service providers, municipalities and developers can integrate the data into their own online offers or even develop new services completely independently of the output channel. The data can not only be filtered according to numerous properties and characteristics, but is also available in Dutch and English.

Places of interest

From the imposing Nordkirchen Castle to the junction in the Münsterland cycle path system - the data portal offers a comprehensive wealth of data on the major and minor sights in the Münsterland region. Provided with various descriptive texts, images, opening times and prices, the data sets leave no questions unanswered. All datasets are available in three languages, have numerous features, are provided with CC licences and are, of course, georeferenced.

Concerts, theatre, funfairs or Christmas markets - the calendar of events in Münsterland is full to bursting. The events are managed in the Münsterland data portal. Each event offers all the important information with texts, opening times, prices and an exact location. All events are in three languages and have CC licences.

Countless beautiful paths criss-cross the Münsterland. They are ideal for cycling, horse riding, hiking or simply walking. More and more routes are being managed in the Münsterland data portal. The data records are enriched with numerous texts, images and features, from route length to thematic focus.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

In the Münsterland data portal you can find almost all data on local public transport in Münsterland. Stops, stations, bus lines and train connections from the relevant transport companies offer many opportunities for innovation. All data is available via the API interface and can be combined with other data.

The Münterland data portal has a documented interface. Interested parties can obtain data on the region via the interface. Various parameters can be used to query, combine and link specific data. You can request a login for the interface by sending an e-mail to digital@muensterland.com.
