The Münsterland data portal offers countless open data on sights and events . With our online tool Share.IT, you can easily integrate this data into your own website. This works without any interface or programming. Nevertheless, every change to the data in the Münsterland data portal is updated directly on your website.

Even the font colours and typeface adapt to the appearance of your own website. This allows you to seamlessly integrate data from the Münsterland data portal in just a few steps. Very important: The open data licence used ensures that you are also permitted to use the data.

The use of Share.IT is free of charge.

Ideas around Share.IT

By using Share.IT, you can enrich the content of your website without much effort. For example, you can:

  • Add the places of interest along a cycle route to your website without having to worry about texts and images.
  • Add the current opening hours to the description of a museum on your website.
  • Integrate excursion destinations in the surrounding area on your website and thus ensure that your guests stay longer.

You don't have a login for Share.IT yet? Then register here. We will send you your final access data after your registration.

Log in to Share.IT with your login data. With your access, you can see all the data sets you have created in an overview.

You can create new records or change existing records at any time.

Configure data

You can configure each data set individually. You choose which data should later be visible on your website. This can be extensive information and pictures, or simply the opening hours of a place of interest.

In the preview, you can check the scope and sequence of the selected data and, of course, change it again and again in the configuration.

If the code is already integrated into your website, these changes are automatically applied.

6. copy code

Are you happy with your configuration? Then you can copy the code provided and place it in the source code of your website.

From now on, all changes from the Münsterland data portal will be automatically transferred to your website.

Data records available via Share.IT:

  • Places of interest: approx. 800
  • Events: approx. 3,000

The events are available bundled via the event calendar.
