Museums look back on the history of Metelen

As in many other places, the textile industry was an important pillar of Metelen's economy for a long time. The Metelen-Land railway station with its railway museum and the Ackerbürger Haus still bear witness to this today. Plagemanns Mühle is located directly on the River Vechte. After an eventful past, the mill and gate museum has found its home here.
