The frequent art exhibitions at Gallitzin-Haus in Münster-Angelmodde developed into an initially open artists' meeting place in mid-2017. This created a platform for local artists to exchange ideas and plan joint activities.

The Angelmodder.Künstler.Treff. has since evolved into the A.K.T. art group.

The A.K.T. artists represent diverse artistic positions and work with a wide variety of materials and colours. In addition to paintings and drawings, there are also graphics, collages, photographs and sculptures. You can therefore expect a varied and exciting exhibition.

On 29 August, the town centre will be transformed into a colourful music mile: the 13th edition of Street Live – Musikkult(o)ur kicks off in Senden at 7.30 pm.

On several outdoor stages, in St Laurentius Church and in the streets, everything will revolve around music, providing the perfect opportunity for a proper celebration.

Street Live takes place every two years on the last Saturday in August and is popular with young and old alike.

Numerous groups provide – depending on your preference – either sophisticated entertainment or a party atmosphere. The participating musicians’ many years of experience and high standard of performance are the hallmarks of this event. The musical repertoire is wide-ranging.

Verrückte Freiheiten examines contemporary characteristics of freedom on the basis of everyday observations. Achim Hennecke's photographs, taken over more than a decade, show situations that refer to desires for freedom and (in)freedoms that are perceived as normal. Between subtle longings, self-imposed restrictions and familiar situations, it becomes clear that freedom is not absolute. Rather, it reveals itself as subjective, one-sided, fleeting and negotiable. The associative works invite us to think beyond the obvious. They illustrate questions about the understanding of freedom: How do we think and live freedom? How do we use it to actively shape things? Which lack of freedom do we accept and which do we not? Where are meaningful boundaries? Which freedoms are important to us and how do we guarantee them in the long term? The portfolio of Verrückte Freiheiten contains further photographs that correspond with the freedom motifs and pick up on latently bizarre to unexpectedly aesthetic moments of the present. Alpaca yoga: Yoga is practised together on the meadow with the 100 alpacas. In calm yin yoga positions, participants can watch the lovely alpacas graze and enjoy the silence. From experience, the curious alpacas also come very close.

The exhibition presents abstract, realistic and landscape works that visualise emotional moods and experiences of nature using acrylic paint, form and pastels. Between inner movement and outer landscape, pictures are created that leave room for personal associations and contemplation. Compositions of Diversity shows works that move between abstraction, realism and landscape. Colours, shapes and pastel shades enter into a dialogue of emotion, nature and perception. Each picture is an expression of an inner moment and at the same time an invitation to discover one's own moods and memories in it. The variety of techniques and motifs combine to create a harmonious overall composition.
