In the‘Venner Moor’nature reserve – renowned far beyond the town’s boundaries – you can go for a walk to enjoy the fresh air and explore the fascinating flora and fauna of the moorland. As well as its diverse natural environment, Senden offers a wide range of leisure activities, such as swimming and relaxing at ‘cabrio Senden – Das Bad’, Swin-Golf at Hof Grothues-Potthoff, bread-baking in the bakehouse in the Ottmarsbocholt district, canoeing on the Stever or the Dortund-Ems Canal, and much more.
