One of the most exciting stories in Münsterland is currently being written at Senden Castle. After years of decay, the castle on the banks of the Stever is now slowly but surely being renovated. Step by step, new secrets about the building fabric, historical use and significance of the entire complex are being revealed. But often the new findings raise more questions than they answer.
Visitors can visit the "construction site" and gain an interesting insight during guided tours.
