The Erbdrostenhof for the Castles Day

The Erbdrostenhof is one of Münster's most important architectural monuments. The main and showpiece of the Erbdrostenhof is the banqueting hall that extends through the entire central building. The Erbdrostenhof was built as a city palace by the Baroque architect Johann Conrad Schlaun between 1753 and 1757 by order of the hereditary Duke Adolph Heidenreich Baron Droste zu Vischering. After being destroyed in the Second World War, the building was reconstructed.
